NIGHTMARE BEFORE XMAS

Nightmare Before Xmas

Come one come all for a scary good time at Christmas Lake!

Saturday, December 2nd | 9:30 AM Shotgun

The Nightmare has become one of Christmas Lake’s signature golf events. It started out as a few guys sitting around the 19th hole coming up with a goofy golf day game to pass the time before the bar opened one winter day. The golf course is set up at maximum length of close to 7400 yards with some nasty pins (some tough to putt at and some tough to get to). The scramble format removes some of the sting, but come prepared. We have had snow, ice, rain, wind, and even 65 degrees and calm…but it is never easy.

FORMAT

Two Person Scramble, pre-flighted by handicap formula.

ENTRY FEE

$150.00 per team includes all cart/green fees, tee gift, range balls and chili after golf. We will also offer a 1/2 pot plus door prizes after golf. Optional Team Skin game available…additional $40/team for both days.

ELIGIBILITY

This event is open to any Amateur with a verifiable USGA handicap or handicap verified by a PGA Golf Professional. Players with no handicap or Golf Professionals will play as scratch. Handicaps are only used for the team flighting formula.

WEATHER

The event will be played as long as weather conditions permit the course to be open and playable.

Come out to Christmas Lake for our last couples event of the season!

The perfect night out for you and your significant other!

Golf will start at 3:30pm

We will have special golf competitions going on all evening!

Immediately following golf there will be a cookout, bonfire, music, and drinks available!

Non-Members: $60 (food and drink not included)

Members: $10 (food and drink not included)

Come out to Christmas Lake and support a good cause!

Part of the proceeds from this tournament will benefit Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund!

Format: Individual Stoke play

Winnings:

Low net winners

Low pro winners

Blind draw 4 person team winners

Entry Fee: $65 for amateurs – $75 for pros

Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the United States armed forces.
